**In-camera double sd card Backup**
Most cameras have double sd card slots nowayday. This backup system uses both slots to ensure that the photos are safe and secure in two different places. It's a great way to protect your photos and make sure you never lose them during the shoot!

**Export from SD Card on my SAMSUNG SSD**
I manually copy the photos from my SD cards to the "In Progress" folder on my Samsung SSD. This is the first step in my backup system to ensure that my photos are secure.

**Automated Backup of “In Progress” Folder on my G-RAID Drive**
Then this folder is automatically backed up to my G-RAID drive with Carbon Copy Cloner. Everytime my hard drives are connected to my laptop the backup starts. So any changes are always recognized and synchronized.

**Automated Backup of MY Lightroom Catalog to my G-RAID Drive**
Since I had bad experience with the integrated Lightroom backup I create an additional backup to the G-RAID drive everytime when files have been modified in the source (but not more then once in 60 minutes).

**Automated Backup from entire 12TB G-RAID to my 12TB Backup Drive**
Then every week on sunday my entire 12TB G-RAID is backed up to my 12TB Backup drive. It is not an identical G-RAID, but a Western Digital "My Book" drive. Don't need a super fast hard drive when its only for back ups. On the G-RAID I also work and need fast access.

**CLOUD Backup of my “IN PROGRESS” folder**
It is always good to have an additional cloud backup. Me personally I am feeling comfortable to go with having only parts of my work ("In Progress" Folder) backed up to my Google Drive. But a great solution is also Backblaze (unlimited storage for 7$/month).
