Posting Boost

While diversity in the startup world continues to be a hot topic, I want to share my own personal journey as a female entrepreneur.

My pregnancy was the catalyst for starting my own digital marketing company in 2018.

In 2020, I rented an office in Cologne and hired my first student employee to help with the growing demand for my services. A few months later, the COVID-19 pandemic hit and many small businesses in my area were struggling. I knew that digitization could lead to democratization, so I decided to digitize a part of my service - the development of a social media marketing strategy - to help these businesses maintain their customer relationships without a large marketing budget.

My background in marketing allowed me to research existing tools and found that none of them focused on strategy, so I decided to develop my own tool - Posting Boost. It's a web app that offers a calendar view and a variety of content ideas, including posting tips, trendy topics, special dates, and holidays, and design bundles for continuous branding.

The development of the MVP was done in 2022, we gathered feedback from customers to guide the development of the next version. One of the biggest challenges in 2022 was the Ukrainian-Russian war, which prevented us from working with our software team (more on that later, be tuned). However, we were able to overcome this obstacle by drawing on our network and finding an experienced IT specialist.
We have included the high-end CE SDK design tool, which provides an excellent design experience for creative marketing efforts. Hence Posting Boost enables template-based workflows and automations for brands, agencies, and printers, allowing users to create specific designs and identities for their posts.

By working together, we were able to overcome challenges and continue to succeed and grow. We believe that our experiences as female entrepreneurs can provide valuable insights for other female founders. We are open to sharing our experiences and collaborating with others to promote diversity and support the growth of female-led startups.
