Participants of the “Digital Storytelling & Media Literacy for Youth Engagement” training shared their experience with us.
During the course, participants learned how storytelling and media tools can support youth participation and inclusion. They explored story structure, interviewing techniques, and created short formats such as reels and photo stories..
Through practical exercises like scripting, phone-based production, and editing, participants developed skills in narrative design and audience engagement, while also learning about ethical content creation, consent, and media literacy.
By the end of the training, participants created ready-to-use stories and tools to organise local digital storytelling workshops.

We are happy to share moments from the “Digital Storytelling & Media Literacy for Youth Engagement” training course in Rome. The project brought together youth workers to explore storytelling and media tools for stronger youth engagement.
Day 1 - Arrival & Welcome
Participants arrived, met the group and prepared for the journey ahead.
Day 2 - Introduction & Team Building
Ice-breakers, group activities and discussions on Erasmus+, Youthpass and storytelling in youth work.
Day 3 - Digital Storytelling Landscape
Participants explored storytelling across platforms and the role of media in communication.
Day 4 - Storyboard & Narrative
Workshops focused on building narratives and preparing visual concepts.
Day 5 - Photo & Video Practice
Participants learned photography and video basics for youth projects.
Day 6 - Editing & Post-Production
Sessions focused on editing tools and shaping engaging stories.
Day 7 - Media Literacy & Responsibility
Participants discussed misinformation, ethics and responsible media use.
Day 8 - Presentation & Reflection
Participants presented projects and reflected on the learning outcomes.
Day 9 - Departure Day
Final goodbyes after an inspiring experience in Rome.
The training strengthened skills in digital storytelling, media literacy and creative communication for youth engagement.

We are happy to share moments from the “Conflict Management, Community Engagement & Democratic Participation in Youth Work” training course in Prague. Youth workers and educators from different countries explored practical tools for conflict resolution, democratic participation, and empowering young people in their communities.
Day 1 - Arrival & first connections

Interactive activities created a safe space for collaboration and learning.
Day 3 - Understanding conflict
Participants explored conflict types and how dialogue can support growth.
Day 4 - Stakeholders & conflict tools
Participants learned methods to analyse conflicts and community dynamics.
Day 5 - Simulation & facilitation
Practical exercises developed negotiation and decision-making skills.
Day 6 - Community engagement
Groups created ideas to involve young people in democratic processes.
Day 7 - Reflection & future steps
Participants reflected on learning outcomes and shared follow-up ideas.

During the course, participants explored practical methods for conflict analysis, de-escalation, and mediation in youth work. They discussed political literacy, community mapping, and stakeholder engagement to better understand how to support dialogue and civic participation among young people.
Through role plays, simulations, and case studies, participants practiced facilitating difficult conversations and designing youth-led initiatives focused on inclusion, trust, and democratic engagement.
By the end of the training, participants developed practical tools and local action plans to organise dialogue events and civic participation workshops in their communities.
