Today I discovered several specimens of my absolute favourite wild British tree, wild service tree, growing a few miles from where I’ve moved to - not only that, these specimens belong to a rare triploid (three sets of chromosomes) variety that was only just identified in 2015. Will get some in-situ shots soon
