This is the first official version of a new website about the Japanese city Taketa. Like many other rural Japanese towns, young people have been leaving for the bigger cities. To counter this trend, Taketa started the Nouson Kaki Project – The Return to Rural Life. They offer ideal conditions to young creatives, for example spaces to work and live. Yumiko Urae initiated this Website, to collect information about Taketa and to make the city and the Nouson Kaki Project more known. Studio Nikibi is curious to see how this project will evolve in future!
