Berlinale is one of the world's leading film festivals. The 67th Berlin International Film Festival is scheduled to be held from February 9th to February 19th, 2017.

Contrast between modernism and history. The sculpture "Berlin" symbolizes the closeness and isolation between the two sides of Berlin during the division. "Berlin" was one of eight sculptures designed during "Skulpturenboulevard Kurfürstendamm" an event commissioned by the city of West Berlin to celebrate Berlin's 750th anniversary in 1987. Behind is the protestant Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, which was heavily damaged during the Bombing of Berlin in World War II.
