A new campus for learning, living and meeting.

The new Federal University of Applied Administrative Sciences in Rostock brings together education, housing and public space in a timber modular ensemble designed to encourage encounters between students, faculty and the local community. Built from around 1,000 prefabricated timber modules, the project demonstrates how sustainable construction, speed and architectural quality can go hand in hand.

This weekend marks the official opening.

Kaufmann Bausysteme GmbH PRIMUS developments

Riverway City is a new mixed-use urban quarter currently in planning for Kashar, west of Tirana’s city centre. With an area of 5.7 hectares, the development is comparable in size to the urban fabric surrounding Tirana’s historic Skanderbeg Square. Designed for more than 3,000 residents, the project combines housing, workplaces, hospitality, retail, and a network of shared public spaces.

The project is structured around a sequence of shared urban rooms: riverfront promenades along the Lana River, generous courtyards, neighbourhood gardens, and pedestrian passages that encourage everyday encounters and community life.

The project model will be on display during Bread & Heart Festival in Tirana from 3–5 June 2026.
