What will Earth look like if all its land ice melts? Here's your answer. Climate change isn't pretty. Floods. Droughts. Trillions of dollars to pay for it all. And that's just the tip of the (increasingly smaller) iceberg.

FutureCityLab round table discussion at the Hanover Messe this year. There will be two sessions both on the future development of Moscow. The round tables are kindly hosted by the city of Moscow and the department of science and innovation. Session 1 will start at 1.30pm with the topic: "How disruptive technologies will change the future city". Session 2 will start at 4pm with the topic: "How important are roofs for the sustainable development of mega-cities?"

Продолжением серии деловых мероприятий на стенде Правительства Москвы в рамках Hannover Messe станет Круглый стол FutureCityLab - Москва’2050 «Потенциал использования крыш для устойчивого развития городов». В ходе дискуссии участникам предстоит оценить перспективы использования пространств на крышах, обсудить возможность создания городских ферм и садов в черте города Москвы, а также современные технологии, способствующие развитию таких объектов инфраструктуры, как агрополис. В обсуждении примут участие: заместитель руководителя Департамента природопользования и охраны окружающей среды Сергей Мельников, член совета директоров и совладелец Energy Projects Group Ольга Прокофьева, ландшафтный архитектор из Гамбурга Герко Шрёдер и др. Круглый стол пройдет 7 апреля 2014 года на стенде Правительства Москвы в павильоне Global Business & Markets с 16.00 до 17.30.
