When walking across such a special area like Serra de l Albera , close to the border between Spain and France, in the middle of the Pyrenees, you will arrive to a wonderful small alpine village named Espolla.
Further to that, already on the hills you will find 3 houses , alone, with a very strong character , not being part of anything else than the forest and the sky… and you will find this welcoming note: Natural Wine Tasting.

This is Carles Alonso’s home.

If you have the honor to be invited across his doors you will be part of an unique experience.
You will be playing one of these Pirates’ Novels with the hero and the villain (Carles is very often the last one) with beautiful ladies and legendary battles … and with amazing self cooked dishes and good wine …lot of good wine.

We have had the pleasure already a couple of times of being part of this.
And this is not what impressed us the most.

It is the love and the complicity that Carles has shared everytime we travel across all these stories together …

and under these circumstances… every sip of wine is like a universe bless.
