Connecting Across Borders: Seizing Synergies hosts networking evening in Yerevan

Together with our local partner .am we brought together journalists and civil society representatives.

It was great to see everyone sitting down, sharing perspectives on what independent journalism looks like on the ground and realizing we're all dealing with the same pressures across the region.

For us at n-ost, the event felt like a step forward in growing our network and making sure independent voices stay genuinely connected.

Seizing Synergies connects independent media outlets from Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine to produce cross-border journalism together.

Over 12 months, 10 Ukrainian journalists produced original stories on climate, environment, energy, and recovery in Ukraine for The Climate Content Pool. Through a syndication model, any Ukrainian media platform, including smaller regional outlets, could republish or adapt The Climate Content Pool materials free of charge, making quality climate journalism accessible to wider audiences.

The Climate Content Pool is a project by n-ost in partnership with Рубрика. The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy under the International Climate Initiative (IKI), co-financed by the European Union and supported by the Ukrainian Climate Office and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

n-ost is a European journalistic network.
