In 2001, I put on a Philip Glass solo piano show, Pieces of Glass, in Auckland in collaboration with a dancer (Shanti). I wrote this piece during rehearsals, and it was actually one of the first piano pieces I ever wrote. It only took me twenty three years to get round to recording it.
