We recently hosted the screening of The Cost of Growth followed by a discussion on extractivism and climate justice. The event offered a space to reflect on local struggles and explore grassroots alternatives across Europe.

Highlights included Sebastián Uribe presenting the Degrowth movement and ways to get involved and moderator Ana Luísa de Campos sharing insights on extractivism, growth-oriented policies and their social and environmental impacts.

During the Q&A, participants shared experiences from ecovillages, urban sustainability initiatives and discussed practical ways to support environmental policies and systemic change.

Moderated by political economist Ana Luísa de Campos, we’ll be joined by degrowth activist and researcher Sebastián Uribe to explore how we can build solidarity, resist extractivist policies, and take collective action toward fairer futures.
