Alima Kyeremateng, 15, has made strong progress this year through consistent learning at Dodoo Coding Club. With clear aspirations to become a software developer and a civil engineer, she has steadily built practical skills in web development and applied them, amongst other projects, by creating a website for her father’s barbering and her mother’s drinks businesses using what she learned at DCC.
Academically, Alima is now a science student at St. John’s Grammar School (Category A) and achieved a major milestone by being selected for her school’s National Maths and Science Quiz (NMSQ) team as the only girl chosen out of more than 600 students. This achievement reflects her academic strength and confidence in highly competitive settings, and shows how early, structured learning can translate into real capability and ambition.

Deborah Ofori Appiah (Debbie), 18, has also had a really impressive year.
After graduating from Mfantsiman Girls Senior High School at 17, she began her BSc. in Computer Science at Ghana Communication Technology University
In her first year, she has deepened her skills in Python and C++, while also seeking learning beyond lectures. She took part in the Tech & Beyond Expo 2025, attended the Python Ghana ’25 Conference, and joined the IEEE Telepresence Competition team, where a robot was remotely operated in Australia.
Within Dodoo Coding Club, Debbie has stepped into a mentoring role as a Teaching Assistant, supporting younger learners. Alongside this, she continues to build independently, including work on her StudyHub project and her De-Angie’s wristwatch website, showing persistence and genuine curiosity.
