The Clementinum and its library
The Clementinum is one of the largest architectural complexes in Prague, second only to Prague Castle. Built by Jesuits in the 17th century, it includes churches, chapels, an observatory, and the famous Baroque library. The library hall is breathtaking, with ceiling frescoes, carved wooden shelves, and ancient globes. The observatory once recorded daily meteorological data, creating one of the oldest climate archives in Europe. The Clementinum is a place where science and art meet, and every visit feels like a journey back in time.

Charles Bridge — the heart of Prague
Charles Bridge is one of Prague’s most iconic landmarks, connecting the banks of the Vltava for more than six centuries. Construction began in 1357 under Emperor Charles IV and was completed in the early 15th century. Stretching over 500 meters, the bridge is decorated with 30 Baroque statues, each with its own story. The most famous is the statue of St. John of Nepomuk — legend says that touching it and making a wish will bring good luck. For centuries, the bridge was an important trade route, and today it is one of the busiest pedestrian zones in Europe. But if you come here early in the morning, you’ll see a different bridge — quiet, majestic, and filled with the spirit of old Prague.
