Today we’ve finally received our DAFF prize for Das Boot Season 2!

As the year comes to a close, it is our pleasure to present the projects of which we have been a part. A more recent of these is “Okupace” (Occupation), a feature film by director Michal Nohejl and producers Julie Žáčková and Jan Hlavsa, that centers around the bustle of a night in a theatre bar in the 1970’s. With a star studded cast of Martin Pechlát, Tomáš Jeřábek, Antonie Formanová, Otakar Brousek, Cyril Dobrý or Pavel Neškudla, “Okupace” is set to premiere in 2021. Stay tuned for updates!

We’d like to extend our sincere congratulations to director Apoorva Satish, sound designer Vojtěch Zavadil, FAMU and Lonely Production for their Best Sound Design award at this year for “Kanya”! The short film “Kanya” follows the story of an Indian teenage swimmer, who is ignored by her family during a time of physical and intellectual transformation. It was a pleasure to work on its Atmos mastering and we wish the crew only success in future endeavours.

We’ve just won the German Television Academy award for the best sound for Das Boot Season 2!!!

In the effort to remain open, Soundsquare has been cautious to provide the safest possible working environment for crew and talent. We have received the COVID-19 compliance certification issued by The Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) last month and are operating on strict mask, distance and sanitization policy.
