✈️ Ten months. One journey. Countless memories.

Last September, future controllers from Avinor arrived in Prague to begin ATC Initial Training at CANI.

Since then, they've completed Basic Training and the ADC, ACS and APS Rating courses — mastering simulators, overcoming challenges, and building friendships along the way.

Now they return to Norway, ready for the next stage of their careers.

Congratulations to everyone who reached this milestone. 🇳🇴✈️

✈️ One milestone down. The journey continues.

A group of future ATCOs has successfully completed the APS Rating at CANI — a demanding phase of initial ATCO training built on months of simulator practice, structured debriefs and continuous learning.

The APS Rating is behind them. IATCC Jeneč is next.

Well done to all three — on to the next chapter ✈️

Czech students — future ATCOs at Řízení letového provozu ČR, s.p. — were officially welcomed at CANI.

Starting not in the classroom, but together in Ledeč nad Sázavou. Team building, first conversations, and a glimpse of what lies ahead.

✈️ A new ATCO journey begins at CANI ✈️

This week, we officially welcomed a new group of Czech students — future air traffic controllers — to CANI.

Before entering the classroom, the students spent several days together during an adaptation course in Ledeč nad Sázavou, focusing on:
🤝 getting to know each other
🧭 understanding what lies ahead in the training
🧩 team building activities supporting cooperation and communication

Now, their journey truly begins. Their upcoming training will combine theoretical learning with practical exercises, gradually developing the skills required for one of aviation’s most responsible professions.

We wish them the very best — and we're proud to guide them from day one.
