STELLION je autorský projekt ilustrátorky a animátorky Anny Mastníkové.

STELLION jsou především různorodé brože, grafiky, plakáty, ilustrace a papírenské výrobky a v poslední době i keramika a její možnosti ve spojení s dekorativní kresbou pomocí kobaltu.

Hsin-Jan Chao

✨Představujeme designéry letošního UMPRUMSHOPu!✨

Chao Hsin-Jan (born 1993, Formosa) is a non-traditional intermedia artist whose practice grows more from the street than the academy. Raised in skate parks and street culture, he worked for years as a visual artist for skateboarding brands. Since childhood, he has practiced Chinese calligraphy, written poetry, and developed a deep love for cinema and literature. In 2022 he moved to Prague to study at FAMU’s Photography Department and later graduated from the Intermedia Studio in 2025. He also spent time studying fashion design and fine arts in Naples Academy of Fine Arts and completed an internship at the UMPRUM Fashion and Footwear Studio. His work encompasses a diverse range of mediums, including found objects, photography, painting, graphics, books, design, and comics.

For this UMPRUM Shop edition, he presents leather upcycling pieces developed during his studio internship. For him, “less is more” is not only a visual strategy but a way of thinking. Living in an age of excessive production—especially in fashion—he chooses to work with what already exists, giving objects a second life and returning them to everyday use rather than creating something entirely new.
