We scanned our offices using the lidar mounted on a drone, then post-processed the data to create a suitable simulator environment.

The drone flies in the environment, creating a global map and a navigation graph. It then combines long range navigation (using the graph depicted with red nodes), and short range navigation. Short range navigation follows the global trajectory (chasing the yellow ball) and can react to changing conditions (obstacle avoidance).

We’re introducing Prometheus from GoodAI – now spinning out as GoodAI Swarm Robotics.

Autonomous drone swarms. No pilot. No GPS. No signal.

When GPS drops, radios die, or pilots can’t enter, most drones turn into expensive ceiling fans. Prometheus does the opposite.

We’re building fully autonomous, LLM-driven drone swarms that operate in GPS-denied and signal-denied environments with:
• no pilot
• no constant radio link
• no external compute

You don’t program missions, you state intent:
“Search the second floor.”
“Map the west wing and find trapped people.”
“Show me all blocked exits and heat sources.”

The system turns that into action:
• SLAM-based indoor and close-to-obstacle autonomy
• shared 3D point cloud of the environment
• mission-level planning via LLM reasoning
• autonomous takeoff, navigation, and self-docking to charge

Our long-term vision is full intelligence onboard each drone – a true swarm OS where drones behave more like teammates than tools.

We’re now moving from internal project to product: spinning Prometheus into GoodAI Swarm Robotics, preparing real-world pilots, and building the company around it.
