Planting up two large borders luckily with a help of my amazing customer.

I've only have 2 more projects to finish off before moving to Czech Republic.

Less types of plants combined with trees or shrubs can create souch nicer impact then big variety of plants.
Trees will create hight and feel of mature planting, less variety in plants creates calmer feeling and makes the maintenance much easier.

If creating a new planting or starting again in establishing borders, do not underestimate the soil preparation, turn the soil over, get rid of all weeds, keep it without planting for couple of weeks if you can to help you get the remaining weeds out. Last part would be putting mushroom compost or manure into the soil to improve quality if necessary.
