Dear friends,

Before I wish you all the best for the upcoming New Year 2026, I would like to briefly look back at the past one. It was a year full of changes and of moments both joyful and challenging for all of us.

At its close, my dear colleague and friend, world renowned soprano Anda Louise Bogza passed away. Beyond her beautiful voice, she was a sincerely kind and generous person, whose humanity was as natural as her exceptional talent. She will remain in the memory of all of us who loved her, and in the music she lived with authenticity and humility.

The year 2025 also brought many powerful and joyful moments that will not be forgotten. One of the most exceptional was the concert within the Belcanto Prague concert series in Prague’s Bethlehem Chapel with the Prague Philharmonic Children Choir- Kühnův dětský sbor, where I made as a 9 years old my first singing steps on the big stages, alongside my dear colleagues from Czech National Theatre- Národní divadlo, to discover the world of professional opera performances. Our galaconcert was dedicated to the 92nd birthday of our dear Professor Jiří Chvála.
The conclusion of the evening belonged to an extraordinary moment when, in the presence of distinguished guests, three exceptional well-wishers came to congratulate him in person: Mrs. Ing. Ivana Jasanská, CSc., Director of the Richards Group agency; Mr. Vladimír Remek, the first and the only Czechoslovak astronaut; and Mr. Andrew Feustel, an American astronaut who took my childhood favorite character figurine from the Czech fairytale “Little Mole- Krtek” with him on his space missions- first in 2011 aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour, and later again to the International Space Station.

I would like to thank for all the wonderful moments with music we shared together, the encounters, and for all those, who broaden my journey with new horizons.

In the New Year, I wish you all health, peace, and unforgettable moments with those who are dear to you. ❤️
