The Fish

A private collector recently shared this piece with me — a minimalist fish drawing from 2006.

It’s from a period when I experimented a lot with texture and subtle monochrome forms.

Seeing works like this again brings me right back to the old studio atmosphere — the smell of primer, rough paper, and that quiet sense of total creative freedom.
