EVDF 2026 🇵🇹🦷

Tak jako každý rok, ani letos nechyběl MVDr. Juraj Hanzel na prestižním evropském veterinárním stomatologickém kongresu EVDF, který se tentokrát konal v nádherném Portu v Portugalsku. ☀️

EVDF ale není jen o nejnovějších poznatcích, inspirativních přednáškách a dalším rozvoji veterinární stomatologie. Je to hlavně jedinečná příležitost znovu se setkat s lidmi z různých koutů světa, které spojuje stejná vášeň pro obor. Bylo skvělé opět mít možnost vidět kolegy, přátele, spolužáky i lektory z ESAVS, kteří mě neustále posouvají dál.

Letošní ročník měl opravdu obrovskou účast — kongresu se zúčastnilo přibližně 700 veterinárních lékařů a specialistů z celé Evropy, ale i z USA. České zastoupení bylo také opravdu bohaté.

Děkuji organizátorům za další nezapomenutelný ročník EVDF — a už teď se nemůžeme dočkat příštího roku, kdy se kongres bude konat v Edinburghu.

EVDF 2026 🇵🇹🦷

As every year, MVDr. Juraj Hanzel once again attended the prestigious European veterinary dentistry congress EVDF, which this time took place in the beautiful city of Porto, Portugal. ☀️

However, EVDF is not only about the latest knowledge, inspiring lectures, and the continuous advancement of veterinary dentistry. Above all, it is a unique opportunity to reconnect with people from all around the world who share the same passion for the field. It was truly great to once again meet colleagues, friends, classmates, and ESAVS lecturers who continue to inspire and push me forward. ❤️

This year’s congress saw an incredible turnout, with approximately 700 veterinarians and specialists attending from across Europe as well as the USA. The Czech representation was also exceptionally strong.

A huge thank you to the organizers for yet another unforgettable EVDF congress — and we already cannot wait for next year’s edition in Edinburgh.

Někdy u nás během jednoho dne uspáváme 100kg „obra“… a o pár hodin později držíme v rukách 900g drobečka. 🐾

Tahle malá čivavka zvládla anestezii na jedničku a při stomatologickém ošetření byla naprosto statečná. 💛

A upřímně? Naše anesteziologické sestřičky nemají s těmihle „kapesními pacienty“ vůbec žádný problém.
Právě díky jejich zkušenostem a precizní práci zvládáme bezpečně anestezii napříč celým spektrem – od těch nejmenších až po opravdu velké pacienty. ❤️

Sometimes, in a single day, we anesthetize a 100 kg giant… and just a few hours later, we’re holding a 900 g tiny patient in our hands. 🐾

This little Chihuahua handled anesthesia beautifully and was incredibly brave during her dental procedure. 💛

And honestly? Our anesthesia nurses have absolutely no problem caring for these “pocket-sized” patients.
Thanks to their expertise and precision, we safely manage anesthesia across the entire spectrum — from the very smallest to truly large patients. ❤️
