As a true coffee lover, a sunny Sunday calls for a walk and a good cup of coffee. This unique café is set in a former sewer station from 1906, which operated until 1967. Now, it’s been transformed into a stylish coffee spot with history and character.

🎬 Fun fact: This location even made it to Hollywood, appearing in Mission Impossible IV and Blade!

GRANDPARENTS VISIT 👵👴

This weekend I visited my grandparents, and let me tell you, my stomach is happy! 🤩

My grandma cooks the most delicious and authentic Czech food. 🥘 The best part? Most of the ingredients are homegrown fruits and vegetables from their garden. 🫑🫛🍅🍎🍒🧄

It’s fascinating to see how much time and effort they put into gardening. While it can sometimes be easier and cheaper to buy vegetables at the supermarket, there’s something special about homegrown produce. 🫶

Her pickles are legendary, too. I finally convinced her to teach me how to make them this year. 🥒🫙

🤬 So bummed Kasárna Karlín is closed! Here’s hoping it’s just temporary.🙏🙏🙏

In the meantime, I’m thinking about all the fun things I’ll miss:
