Earlier this week, a workshop was held at EMBO with members of our scientific community to jointly reflect on how research and researchers are assessed across our funding schemes.
The discussions focussed, among other aspects, on outputs and academic age, as well as how broader contributions and contextual factors can be taken into consideration during evaluation processes. Input from participants will inform forthcoming decisions on eligibility and evaluation criteria.
This workshop is part of EMBO’s commitment to DORA, CoARA and to advancing through evidence-informed dialogue and with our research community.
