🏡In many Czech residential districts, daily life happens behind fences. Streets become corridors rather than shared spaces, and the sense of community slowly fades. Even movement through the neighbourhood becomes fragmented and unclear.
Lyžbice in Třinec reflects these conditions — despite being close to the city centre.
Our aim within the FAJNYTŘINEC 2030+ project is to reconnect the district as a lived neighbourhood: calm, but not isolated.
We are focusing on:
🚶‍♂️Clear and comfortable routes for walking and cycling
👭 Public spaces that support everyday interaction
🚦 More coherent infrastructure and service organisation
🏡 A healthier balance between private gardens and the public realm
The goal is not to add more.
The goal is to make what already exists work better — for daily life, for residents, and for the character of the place.
