Σήμερα, η ομάδα μας, σε συνεργασία με το Frederick University Cyprus, πραγματοποίησε μια πιλοτική δράση μαζί με την Πυροσβεστική Υπηρεσία Κύπρου - Cyprus Fire Service, στο πλαίσιο του ευρωπαϊκού έργου Erasmus+ Virales !
Παρουσιάσαμε τη νέα εκπαιδευτική πλατφόρμα του έργου και το εξειδικευμένο σενάριο εικονικής πραγματικότητας (VR) που σχεδιάστηκε για την αντιμετώπιση βιομηχανικών πυρκαγιών.
💡 Γιατί το Virales αλλάζει τα δεδομένα; Η παραδοσιακή εκπαίδευση των σωμάτων ασφαλείας συχνά περιορίζεται από το υψηλό κόστος, τον χρόνο και τους πραγματικούς κινδύνους. Με την τεχνολογία VR, δημιουργούμε ένα απόλυτα ασφαλές, ρεαλιστικό και διαδραστικό περιβάλλον προσομοίωσης. 🌕 What a night it was! Last night, we held an amazing evening workshop with the PASCAL International Summer Camp PASCAL Private Secondary School Lefkosia "Discovering the phases of the moon and exploring our Solar System through Virtual Reality!"
This summer workshop was an exciting learning experience, combining astronomy, practical investigation, and the use of Virtual Reality (VR) technology.
Through our VR headsets, the children travelled beyond Earth to explore the planets, compare their characteristics, observe planetary motion, and experience the immense scale of our Solar System in a way that simply cannot be achieved in a traditional classroom.
This activity beautifully combined Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) through inquiry-based learning. It promoted curiosity, observation, spatial reasoning, collaboration, and critical thinking, all while introducing the children to emerging educational technologies.
