The Brooklands coupé faces both directions along the golden thread of Bentley's history.

Andreas Wüest, owner of the last-ever left-hand drive example, traces that thread back to the origins. "In this car you feel the heritage, the torque, the materials. To have kept those over a century is truly unique."

There's something personal too. "Back in the 1920s the Bentley Boys were one of the coolest things in the car scene. Racing their Bentleys, a group of friends, passionate… a bit rock'n'roll."

The Brooklands was the final coupé powered by Bentley's heroic 6.75-litre V8. Andreas also perceives a forward-facing path from his 2010 car along that golden thread, to today's Bentley Continental family – their aristocratic discretion, their imperial powertrains, their solidity, their craft. Every component is different, but the soul stays intact.
