Last Friday, Embria celebrated its 16th anniversary!

From a small team of two in 2007, we’ve grown into a thriving, ambitious, and diverse group of 50+ professionals and 2000+ people across our portfolio companies worldwide.

When you’re 16, you’re full of potential, full of hopes, dreams, and ideas. The world is wide open for you. Yet you’re becoming more mature and responsible, almost like a full grown-up. We’re so proud of what we’ve accomplished over these 16 years, and we’re excited about what's to come next.

Today we celebrate International Women's Day (IWD)! Started as a labor movement in Europe and North America in the early 1900s, IWD is now a global day to acknowledge and celebrate women's social, economic, cultural, and political achievements. The date also appeals to unresolved global issues such as gender inequality, the pay gap, gender stereotypes, reproductive rights, etc.

At Embria, we are proud to have more than 60% of the team represented by women. Every day, their strength, leadership, professionalism, expertise, energy, and determination make a huge difference for the business. So do all the women working in our portfolio companies and startups in different parts of the world.
