Cyprus tax-resident companies and self-employed individuals should review their position and arrange the first provisional tax instalment by 31 July 2026.
Key points:
✅ Provisional tax is payable in two equal instalments
✅ First instalment: 31 July 2026
✅ Second instalment: 31 December 2026
✅ The standard corporate income tax rate for 2026 is 15%
✅ The estimate should be reviewed before year-end and revised where necessary
An accurate assessment is important. If provisional taxable income is below 75% of the final taxable income, an additional 10% tax will apply.
Our latest article explains the deadlines, applicable rates and key compliance considerations for 2026.
