Around the Cookhouse you’ll find works from artist friends of ours pieces we’ve collected, loved, and lived alongside. They’ve become part of the rhythm of the space, familiar in the background, little moments that guests discover, a reminder that hospitality is also about creating an atmosphere.

We’ve always believed art belongs in everyday spaces not behind a glass barrier, not reserved for a certain kind of room but right where people gather, eat, talk, celebrate and spend time.

These works have become part of what makes the Cookhouse feel like the Cookhouse.

If you’ve grabbed a coffee from him over the years, pop in and say hello before he heads off on his next chapter, chasing his dream.
Andrea has been more than just our barista. He’s been part of the furniture, part of the atmosphere, and part of what made this place feel like home. Whether he was remembering your order, winding people up, bringing that annoying little brother energy, or randomly breaking into song behind the bar, he always brought that something extra to the day.
We’re going to miss having him around, but we’re excited to see where this next adventure takes him.
