ACPELIA makes an appearance … this time in a book! 📕
Seeing the impact of our work reflected in the pages of a school yearbook is always a special feeling.
We are proud to share that the activities and opportunities offered through ACPELIA were featured across four pages of the 2025-2026 Yearbook of Lykeio Apostolou Louka Kolossiou.
Throughout the school year, students had the opportunity to participate in youth exchanges, local pilot activities, international projects, and non-formal education initiatives under the Erasmus+ programme. These experiences allowed them to develop new skills, meet young people from across Europe, explore important social and environmental topics, and become more active members of their communities.
At ACPELIA, we strongly believe that cooperation between schools and youth organisations creates powerful learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom (and of course many times, abroad!) We are grateful to Lykeio Apostolou Louka Kolossiou for their trust, collaboration, and commitment to providing meaningful experiences for their students. Our projects would not be the same without the presence of such wonderful students and supporting teachers.
A huge thank you to the teachers, school staff, and most importantly the students who embraced these opportunities with enthusiasm and dedication. We look forward to continuing this successful collaboration and creating even more opportunities for young people in the years to come! 🇪🇺✈️

Team “Eagles” gets the center stage this time around continuing the GRYW local piloting at Lykeio Apostolou Louka Kollosiou!
This time around participants took part in the activities called “Sleep – Healthy Sleep Habits and Wellbeing” as well as “Hug a Tree”
During the “Sleep – Healthy Sleep Habits and Wellbeing” activity, participants reflected on the importance of quality sleep and its impact on both physical and mental health. Through interactive discussions and a Mentimeter exercise, they explored common causes and consequences of poor sleep habits before working in groups to prepare short performances. Each group presented different aspects of sleep hygiene, highlighting healthy habits, common mistakes, and the effects that sufficient or insufficient sleep can have on our daily lives and overall wellbeing.
As for Hug a tree, participants slowed down, disconnected from everyday distractions, and reconnected with nature. hrough grounding exercises, individual reflection, and mindful observation, participants explored themes of emotional wellbeing, resilience, and personal growth. By drawing parallels between themselves and their chosen trees, they reflected on what keeps them grounded during difficult times before sharing their thoughts and experiences with their peers during a reflective walk.
Of course, the day continued using the Gamify Tools as taught back in the training in Armenia, using the quiz system, attendance system as well as voting for and by participants depending on their engagement in the activities.
