Another passive fire protection project successfully completed!

Recently we completed firestopping works for service penetrations, ensuring the restoration of the fire resistance of the compartment wall.

The installation included fire-coated batts, used to seal larger openings and maintain fire compartmentation; pipe wraps, which expand under high temperatures to close plastic pipe openings and, in combination, fire-rated acrylic sealant.

In addition, specialized fire-resistant compound mortar was applied to provide structural sealing and enhance the overall fire integrity of the system.

These passive fire protection solutions help prevent the spread of fire and smoke between compartments, contributing to a safer and more compliant building.
