On behalf of the team here at Friendship Circle Cyprus & Friendship Circle Charity. we would like to thank the the hard working team on the Children's Paediatrics ward and the rest of the staff at the Larnaca General Hospital - Οργανισμός Κρατικών Υπηρεσιών Υγείας - ΟΚΥπΥ

Some of the team, students from a local Larnaca school & volunteers of Friendship Circle Cyprus, Friendship Circle Charity., Chesed Centre Larnaca Luiza Karnauhova visited the Children's ward at the Larnaca Arch Makarios General Hospital. Loaded with teddy bears, gifts, toys & vouchers from the kind donations from McDonald's , Boobaboom Activity Park, Tommy Life Cyprus & SIARO balloons CY in Larnaca and most importantly our smiles and well wishes.

There’s no denying that toys in the hospital can bring sick or injured children cheer during a bleak time, comfort in an unfamiliar place, and distraction from the fears that plague them. It’s one of the reasons for Friendship Circle Cyprus & Friendship Circle Charity. has lately been visiting the sick children in hospitals.

Kids enter the hospital’s paediatric unit for a variety of reasons—respiratory illness, broken bones, surgery. Often they go home the same day, but sometimes they stay for as long as two weeks and more. Unfortunatley, this time, we were not allowed into many of the rooms, due to the serious sickness of some children.

We are glad to be contributing to the children's well-being in every way we can. It is a pleasure seeing them smile and knowing we are doing something to make them feel better. As this time some of the hospital staff managed to take a few minutes out of thier day to help and of course meet the Big man himself Father Christmas.
