Privacy Minders

Cyprus successfully hosted the European Technical Committee CLC/TC 47X “Semiconductor Devices and Trusted Chips” on 12–13 November in Limassol.

The hosting was made possible with the support of Raphael Legal, Privacy Minders and KINEAS.

Cyprus Organisation for Standardisation - CYS welcomed representatives from countries including Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Belgium, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Israel, and Finland for two days of productive discussions and technical collaboration.

The mission of CLC/TC 47X focuses on developing common European standards for trusted semiconductors, microcircuits, and microelectronic systems, contributing to the implementation of the Cyber Resilience Act and to Europe’s digital resilience.

CYS continues to strengthen Cyprus’s role in the international standardization and cybersecurity landscape.
