Hello to our Berlin-based ISSEM friends :)

Since this monday we have a delegation from Universidad de La Habana visiting us in Berlin. As part of the university cooperation there is not only the Summer School as a joint project, but also an incubator (business acelerator) that was founded together by Universidad de La Habana and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. By now this incubator has two daughter incubators and several projects that are being realized in in in acceleration periods in Cuba.

We will have a stand at the 15th Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA January 18th til 21st: https://gffa-berlin.de/en/). This forum can be seen as a pre-event to the International Green Week (IGW January20th til 29th https://www.gruenewoche.de/en/).

If you are looking for our stand - find us close to the stage for the Science Slam (https://gffa-berlin.de/en/expert-forums/science-slam/). At our stand you can find out about the different projects of these incubators. Two guest researchers will present their research on bio-fertilizers - out of these one based on cellulose nano particles and the other one based on hormonal circuits. Among other projects you can also find information on projects in Cuba based on circular economy.

If this or the rest of the program of GFFA or IGW have caught your interest, you (students) can register for the GFFA for free and then get a discount for the IGW.
