Cuba won!: The vote for all the candidates prevailed.

The final results of the national elections held this Sunday, March 26, validate the election of the 470 candidates proposed as deputies to the highest body of State power in , with more than 50% of valid votes cast by voters according to the electoral roll.
This was reported at a press conference by Alina Balseiro Gutiérrez, president of the National Electoral Council (CEN).
By offering the information corresponding to part no.6, of March 30, Balseiro explained that from an updated register of 8,129,321 voters, 6,167,605 Cubans exercised their right to vote with the established legal requirements, according to the Electoral Law, which represents 75.87% of the electoral register.
Of the total ballots deposited in the polls, 90.28% were valid;
blank 6.22% and canceled 3.50%.
Of the total valid votes cast, 72.10% were for all, and 27.90% were selective votes.
All the deputies were elected with more than 61% of the valid votes cast, by the free, equal, direct and secret vote of the voters, said Balseiro.
She added that the results confirm that the quality of the vote was higher than that achieved in the closest electoral process, the municipal elections, and that all the deputies received the necessary votes as the vote for all prevailed.
Balseiro highlighted that these elections took place in a favorable electoral environment, the people consciously went to the polls with joy and discipline, and no significant incidents were reported.
More than 200,000 electoral authorities, together with collaborators, supervisors, processing groups and other organizations and institutions, acted in accordance with the Electoral Law, transparency, honesty and commitment.
Likewise, the scrutinies in the electoral colleges were public acts and were attended by the representatives of the mass organizations and interested citizens.
Balseiro thanked the Cuban people for the demonstration of civility and democratic spirit by participating massively in this electoral process of transcendental importance for the present and the future of the nation.
This process will culminate on April 19 with the constitution of the National Assembly of People's Power in its 10th Legislature, the election of its leadership, which is in turn the Council of State, and other members of this body, as well as the President and Vice President of the Republic.

Prestigious scientific journal publishes results of Soberana's clinical trial

The prestigious journal Lancet Regional Health Americas has just published the results of the phase 3 clinical trial of Soberana 02 and its heterologous combination with Soberana Plus, Dr. Dagmar García reported via Facebook.

According to the details, the study with more than 44,000 subjects from 8 municipalities of Havana, in a complex epidemiological context with circulation of beta and delta variants, allowed Cuban scientists to demonstrate 92% efficacy in the prevention of symptomatic disease.
"Once again, thanks to the thousands of Havana volunteers who, trusting, put their shoulders; to hundreds of doctors, nurses and other health professionals who were empowered by the trial because they knew what it represented;
to the Health authorities of Havana, IPK Cuba, CPHE and CENCEC, an always winning combination".
