Fewer or less?
Fewer goes with countable nouns whereas less goes with uncountable ones.
I have fewer friends but less problems at the same time.

One of my students asked if she could use an expression a party animal to describe herself. Well, are you sociable, I asked? Yes, it was her response. Do you like to party, I continued my inquiry? No, I don't, she said. Much to her chagrin, she couldn't use it. But, I offered some substitutes. So, if you'd like to say you are a sociable person you may use words such as outgoing, gregarious, extroverted, just to name a few. I hope this was helpful.
