[OFFICAL STATEMENT]
Dear AEGEE-ans,
As part of the organisation that values youth activism, we want to adress the current situation happening in Serbia.
Since 1st of November, when the roof of the train station in Novi Sad had collapsed, no one was claimed responsible for the unfortunate death of 15 people.
Students all around Serbia have started physical 24/7 blockades of their faculties and there are no lectures and exams happening while the blockade lasts, in order to show compassion with the families of the lost ones,
As of tomorrow, out of 64 faculties in Serbia in total, almost 40 are blocked and closed. Students demand:
1. Justice for victims
2. Documents about reconstruction of the train station in Novi Sad being exposed publicly
3. Releasing all the innocent activists and students in prison who are arrested during previous protests.
4. Prosecution of the people who where violent against activits and students.
Our members are joining the blockades along with numerous students and we are proud of every single student investing time and effort in the blockades.
It is important to spread the word, because the media is potraying the situation differently, stating that we have only 100-200 people involved, when in reality its thousands of students all around Serbia, as well as in our dear city, Novi Sad.

Thanks to everyone who helps our students very much in need of it.
We are all united in a fight for justice and responsibilty.
