We’re excited to present “AI for Inclusion: Empowering Teachers to Support Neurodivergent and ASD Students through AI-enhanced Personalized Learning Experiences,” a 36-month Erasmus+ KA2 project running from 01/09/2025 to 31/08/2028. The project brings together partners from Serbia, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, and Romania, working jointly to promote inclusive, ethical, and innovative education across Europe. AI for Inclusion focuses on raising awareness of neurodiversity and Autism Spectrum Disorder, strengthening teachers’ competences, and empowering educators to use AI responsibly to create personalized and inclusive learning experiences. The project engages secondary school students aged 14–18 with neurodivergence, especially ASD, as well as teachers, SEN professionals, and teacher trainers. Planned activities include an awareness campaign with online content, events, and local meetings to challenge stereotypes and inspire more inclusive teaching approaches, alongside a cycle of five open webinars dedicated to neurodiversity, inclusive practices, personalized learning, and the use of technology and AI in education. Educators will also benefit from the AI-nclusion Tank, an online platform for sharing resources and practices, two 25-hour training courses on inclusive teaching and AI-based personalized learning, interactive inclusive and ethical AI guidelines available in six languages, as well as mentorship programmes, local hackathons, and an AI-based toolkit with practical classroom materials. Together, we’re shaping a future where AI supports equity, inclusion, and meaningful learning for all.
