Oppeness, universalism, multiliguism, accademic freedom and tolerance for diverse opinion, and collaboration of jurists from all fields of law and fusion of theory and praxis, all the values traditionally promoted by our conference, were fully endorsed this year too, at the XIV SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE ON THE OCCASION OF THE DAY OF THE FACULTY OF LAW“LAW: CAUSE OR EFFECT", by no less than 240 participants from 36 countries from five continents (Russia, Greece, Hungary, Nigeria, Turkey, Italy, Cyprus, Malaysia, Portugal, Oman, Romania, Poland, Vietnam, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Netherlands, Spain, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, Mexico, Moldova, Peru, Algeria, Canada, South Africa, England and Wales, Sri Lanka, Kyrgyzstan, Norway, Georgia, Morocco, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina – Republic of Srpska and Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina) with 179 scientific papers that will be presented in Serbian, English, Russian, Italian, French and Arabic, i.e. native languages of the participants. Congratulations, and thanks a lot to everybody, but especially, of course, to my colleagues from the section for Roman Law and Legal History!
