No Isolation is an Oslo-based startup that is putting an end to loneliness by supporting socially isolated children in the times when they need friendship the most.
A robot called AV1, with a small, portable avatar, two-way audio and a one-way camera, is keeping kids in touch with the classroom.
It allows them to respond to questions, hold conversations, go on school trips and even attend birthday parties.

No Isolation We create tailored communication tools to put an end to loneliness. KOMP lets digital children and grandchildren share photos, messages and make video calls with their analogue grandparents. AV1 is the telepresence robot that acts as the child’s eyes, ears and voice in the classroom.
