Multi-instrumentalist Iztok Koren (Slovenia) and guitarist Raphael Roginski (Poland) will be playing this Friday (April 17) at Fields Inventive Music Festival in Belgrade. Both names are known for their important contributions to the avantgarde folk scene, Iztok Koren with his imaginary folk ensemble Širom and Raphael Roginski with his personalized interpretations of various musical traditions.

One of the most recent mainfestations of Roginski's vision is his project Ružičnjak Tajni, realized with Serbian musicians Marina Džukljev, Svetlana Spajić, and Tijana Stanković, which was chosen as one of the top five European releases of 2025 by Songlines Magazine and the best domestic release of the year by Disco 3000.

Koren and Roginski recently teamed up for the first time for the album 'Nocturnal Consolations' published on Instant Classic and are currently on their release tour. They will be concluding their tour at Fields Festival in Karmakoma Club, April 17 Friday, 18:00.
