Diplomacy & Commerce National Park Fruška Gora Tour: Tragovima istorije, manastira i vrhunskih vina

U saradnji sa Nacionalni park Fruška gora, magazin „Diplomacy & Commerce“ organizovao je još jednu uspešnu jednodnevnu turu za predstavnike diplomatskog kora, pružajući im priliku da izbliza upoznaju prirodno, kulturno, istorijsko i vinsko nasleđe jednog od najlepših delova Srbije.

Program je započeo u Info-centru Nacionalnog parka Fruška gora. Tradicionalna dobrodošlica uz pogaču, so i domaću rakiju bila je uvod u upoznavanje sa prirodnim bogatstvima i radom ovog zaštićenog područja.

Poseban utisak na goste ostavila je šetnja kroz šumske predele do spomenika „Sloboda“ na Iriškom vencu, jednog od najznačajnijih memorijala u Vojvodini, gde su se upoznali sa istorijom antifašističke borbe i stradanjima stanovništva Srema tokom Drugog svetskog rata.

U nastavku programa ambasadori su posetili manastire Novo Hopovo i Staro Hopovo, dragocene duhovne i kulturno-istorijske centre Fruške gore. Kroz priče o vekovnoj tradiciji, značajnim relikvijama i monaškom životu, gosti su imali priliku da osete autentičan duh ovog podneblja i bogato nasleđe koje se čuva generacijama.

Dan je zaokružen posetom Vinarija La Gora gde su učesnici uživali u degustaciji vrhunskih vina i lokalnih gastronomskih specijaliteta, uz upoznavanje sa bogatom vinskom tradicijom Fruške gore.

Diplomacy & Commerce National Park Fruška Gora Tour: Following the Trails of History, Monasteries, and Fine Wines

In cooperation with Fruška Gora National Park, Diplomacy & Commerce magazine organized another successful one-day tour for members of the diplomatic corps, offering them a unique opportunity to discover the natural beauty, cultural heritage, rich history, and wine tradition of one of Serbia’s most remarkable regions.

The program began at the Fruška Gora National Park Information Center, where guests were welcomed in traditional Serbian fashion with bread, salt, and homemade rakija before learning more about the park’s natural treasures and conservation efforts.

One of the highlights of the visit was a walk through the forest to the “Freedom” Monument at Iriški Venac, one of Vojvodina’s most significant memorials. There, participants learned about the anti-fascist resistance movement and the suffering endured by the people of Srem during World War II.

The tour continued with visits to the Novo Hopovo and Staro Hopovo monasteries, two of Fruška Gora’s most important spiritual and cultural landmarks. Through stories of centuries-old traditions, sacred relics, and monastic life, guests gained insight into the region’s rich heritage and enduring spiritual legacy.

The day concluded at La Gora Winery, where participants enjoyed a tasting of premium wines and local gastronomic specialties while discovering the long-standing winemaking tradition of Fruška Gora.

The tour once again highlighted the importance of such initiatives in promoting Serbia’s natural beauty, cultural heritage, history, and wine tourism among members of the diplomatic corps and the international community.
