Today, we want to honor and remember someone who holds a special and important place in the story of Berkeley Academy: John Eric Swing.

More than a staff member, John was part of the heart of our school family. His warmth, kindness, joy, and charismatic spirit left a lasting mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Through his work, his presence, and the way he connected with others, he helped shape the loving community Berkeley continues to be today.

From Upper Elementary to Middle School, students confidently presented their projects, demonstrating strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a genuine passion for learning. Each display reflected not only their academic growth, but also their ability to explore ideas, think independently, and collaborate with others.

The fair was a true reflection of student voice, creativity, and the excitement of discovery—proving that learning is most powerful when students are engaged, curious, and empowered.
