Kind of love train life. Not so glamorous but also a ton of alone time and first class does elevate the experience. I’ve been writing, reading and watching TV…lots of my fav things. And the gentle sway of the train is like a spa treatment. One of my biggest concerns was my stuff when I went to the WC. Zero issues. I keep my stuff packed up and zipped up and take my phone. Lots of honor (so far) among train travelers. I won’t miss the bathrooms though!

Pro tip: Tuck your roller in between seat sets.

PS: I love my Zermatt hat!

Next stop Innsbruck!

And so it begins! Swiss Alps Solo Trip!!

I’m squeezed into a roller carry-on and a backpack…for a 10 day trip! (Pause for applause). I left my house on time, if you know me you know that was miraculous, but on my way to the airport I tried to call Dan and it failed. My entire phone was not working. Ugh!!! I took a short detour and stopped into the Verizon store and found out it wasn’t me. It was an outage!

I had to navigate to the airport like it’s 1994. No gps, just my memory and following the signs. I got checked in using WiFi and it started working when I was boarding… phew. I had a moment there. Nothing like leaving the country with no phone!!

When I said follow me for this adventure I did not know it was going to be this interesting from the get go!

I’m tucked into my seat and ready to get to Switzerland!!! ❤️✈️💃🏻🎉

In Costa Rica for a wedding! Got to hang the our dear friends from the Penn State years, including the parents of the bride! Off to the welcome party. Perfect weather, great hotel, and even an iced tea for this addict! Cheers to Ellie and Franco!! 🎉
