ZT-703S Oscilloscope Multimeter vs LCR Bridge : What's the Difference of testing capacitance?
In this video, we compare the results of measuring a capacitor using an LCR Bridge(ZOYI ZT-MD1), a Oscilloscope Multimeter (ZOYI ZT-703S), and a Transistor Tester (Fnirsi DSO-TC3).
1, The LCR Bridge can accurately display the capacitance value, Rs value, and D value.
2, The Multimeter only shows the capacitance value.
3, The Transistor Tester can display both the capacitance value and the Vloss ratio. (The lower the Vloss ratio, the better the quality of the capacitor.)

How to upgrade ZOYI ZT-703S to the lastest firmware version?

I'm Tim. Lately, I've gotten a lot of emails asking how to upgrade firmware and where to find the latest firmware. So, I'm making a general reply here. Because of different product batches, it's good to check your product's version as soon as you get it. After turning on your product, click "menu," then press the right button three times. You'll see our version number is 1.1.0. This is actually an older version, so we need to upgrade the firmware.
Where can you find the latest firmware to download?
Go to tim's brand website, thedmm.com/shop/zt-703s, and scroll down to the description. You'll see a new section there providing the latest firmware update. You can click to download it. Just to let you know, the factory's latest version right now is 1.2.7. If someone says they got 1.3.0, that's actually an internal naming method by the engineering department. In reality, both versions are the same. Whenever there's a new update, I'll let you all know here first.
Also, there are two ways to enter the disk drive on the 703s. You can press F1 while turning on your device to quickly enter the disk drive, or after clicking the menu button, press the right button twice. You'll see "USB enter" under F3. Choose F3, and you can also enter the disk drive.
Good news is, both Mac and Windows computers can connect to the disk drive this way to complete the version upgrade.
After connecting to the computer, you need to open the folder, select the firmware folder, and drag the downloaded latest firmware version into the firmware folder. Then, you'll see a green progress bar on the 703's screen. When the progress bar completes, you can enjoy the latest version.
