The circulator, also known as circulator, is characterized by one-way transmission of high-frequency signal energy.
In general, a toroidal device has several ports, and the signal is transmitted to the next port in the direction determined by the static biased magnetic field, and can only propagate along this direction, not in the reverse order.
Because of this characteristic, ring devices are used for isolation between transmitting and receiving signals, and are commonly found in radar, active electronically scanned antenna (AESA) arrays, satellite communications, and telecommunications.
