AximmetryをNana Banana Proを使ってバーチャルプロダクションワークフローを作ってみた。

今回のInterBeeのCanonブースで、AximmetryとCanonのRFレンズを使った展示。リアルタイム合成映像を撮影しながら、RFレンズの特色を持った深遠度(ボケ)を持った撮影が可能になった事を説明したブース。
特筆すべき事は、Canon C400、C800と言ったらカメラを使う事によって、前準備に時間がかかるレンズキャリブレーションの作業工程を大幅に削減できる様になった点。
このイノベーションは、大きい。
Canonは、Sonyやパナソニックと比べて、合成映像の分野で大きく先んじた。
他メーカーがどの様に戦略化するのか楽しみだ。

Visitors were impressed by how smoothly everything worked in 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞, along with the 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐛𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐡 achieved with longer lenses.

Broadcast teams were especially curious about virtual production as a faster and more 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐬. We’re grateful for the collaboration and the great photos from the event.
