ABOYERD

Four years ago, with the support of WWF, ABOYERD planted fruit trees across the Campo landscape; an investment in both people and nature.

Today, those trees are bearing fruit, and the community proudly shared the harvest with us. What was once a vision is now nourishment, resilience, and proof that conservation works when communities lead the way.

This is more than a success story; it’s a reminder that restoring our ecosystems today secures food, livelihoods, and hope for tomorrow.

Last week, we were thrilled to welcome the co-chair of the IUCN Pangolin Specialist Group- Dr. Matt Shirley, some staff of the Brookfield Zoo and of the University of Dschang at our head office in Dschang.
Their visit was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the inspiring Operation Pangolin project, while also sharing ABOYERD’s ongoing work, key achievements, and our new strategic plan.
We’re excited about the possibilities this collaboration opens for stronger partnerships and collective action to protect pangolins and their habitats in Cameroon and beyond!
