The Enemy's Plans and Our Victory in Jesus
The devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy our lives and our peace (John 10:10). His goal is to deceive and trap us in sin, fear, and despair. But the good news is that through Jesus Christ, we have victory and deliverance.
John 14:6 affirms, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
In His name, we find power to overcome every attack of the enemy.
James 4:7 encourages us, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
When we stand firm in Jesus and call on His name, the devil has no choice but to flee.
Psalm 34:17 assures us, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles."
Our deliverance is found in Jesus, who has already defeated sin and death at the cross.
Remember:
No matter what the enemy tries to steal, kill, or destroy, Jesus offers us salvation, protection, and victory. Call on His name in faith, and He will deliver and restore you. His power is greater than any of the enemy’s schemes.
Let's Pray
God’s will is for us to have an ongoing relationship with Him and to remain vigilant of the systems of this world. It is His desire that we stay connected to His Spirit, which empowers us to stand firm and resist the influences that oppose His kingdom. As 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 reminds us, "The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God."
God’s plan can only be fully realized through His Spirit working in and through believers who are willing to commune with Him devoutly and tirelessly. We must remain restless in prayer and devotion, faithfully interceding until the ungodly systems are dismantled and replaced with righteousness, justice, and truth. As Romans 12:2 encourages us, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
It is through persistent faith, unwavering devotion, and reliance on the Holy Spirit that the children of God will prevail, bringing forth His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).
